I was a victim.
My high school refused to do anything when I went to them for help.
They said it was because it only happened once.
Wasn't once enough? After my problems, I said it is.
After that, the bullies changed but the attitudes of the teachers didn't. It was another excuse after another. I blankly came out and asked if they believed me.
They said yes but their eyes said no.
After years of bullying, it is finally over. But where was my school when I needed them? Luckily, I had great friends to help me through those rough days. But schools are meant to support the pupils. So why aren't they?
I am thankful for those people who came on the site and are showing their support.
